Many talented players have been on the rise this year. From Sporting’s Victor Gyorkes to Fulham’s Palhinha, many top clubs in England are going to poach some mid-table gems. Let’s predict which Premier League clubs will poach some of the world’s top talent.
Pedro Neto - Spurs (75m)
Dejan Kulusevski has been up and down this season. He is often reluctant to take on his man or shoot an outside-of-the-box shot. He also does not have the pace to be considered a complete winger. Brennan Johnson has that pace, but he is inconsistent and loses the ball often. That is why Neto fits into this team so well. He is fast, agile, a great dribbler, and a good finisher as well. Spurs should do everything they can to get their hands on him this summer.
Victor Gyorkes - Arsenal (80m)
Arsenal has missed a productive number nine since the departure of Aubameyang. Jesus and Nketiah just haven’t gotten it done. Many speculated that the Gunners would go after Ivan Toney, however, in recent months Gyorkes to Arsenal has gained a lot more smoke. It also makes sense, too. Arsenal requires a finisher and someone who can receive the ball and score from outside or just inside the box since their wingers are intended to attack higher or pass towards the top of the box. Gyorkes fits that profile.
Palhinha - Manchester United (60m)
A double pivot for the Red Devils would make sense. Casemiro is losing his ability to play at a top level and a replacement for him seems imminent. That's why the strong, powerful Palhinha would fit perfectly. He is an automatic ball winner, can carry the ball, and help play it out of the back. United needs that. They should also not buy Amrabat as Palhinha would fill that role and more efficiently.
Florian Wirtz - Liverpool (90m)
Florian Wirtz is arguably a top-ten player in the world right now. He is an amazing dribbler, a great passer, and a good finisher as well. Liverpool has slightly struggled in playmaking up front this year. They have had to play Alexis as a center defensive midfielder due to squad depth or other reasons. Wirtz would provide constant playmaking and brilliant moments as well. It makes sense considering the most likely replacement for Klopp is Xabi Alonso and Wirtz would love to continue his success in the Premier League.
Jeremie Frimpong - Manchester City (40m - Release Clause)
Frimpong has been the most successful fullback this season behind his partner Alex Grimaldo. He has provided provided goals, assists, and great defense. He has been key in the build-up of the offense in Alonso’s tactics. Even as a defender, his role as a playmaking right-back makes him a perfect fit for Manchester City and a great replacement for Kyle Walker.
Victor Osimhen - Chelsea (120m)
Osimhen has been pretty vocal about wanting to leave Napoli. His situation with the team due to certain incidents as of recent has deteriorated significantly. Chelsea has been linked to the Nigerian and he would fit into the team well. Nico Jackson hasn’t been good at all this year considering the chances he has gotten. Osimhen would fill that role well and most likely dominate in the Premier League.
